Oxybelus cordatus.
La hembra trabaja en el abastecimiento del nido, llevando varias moscas (Lauxanidae/Drosphilidae (?)), las que trasporta entre sus patas. Dado el tamaño de las moscas-presa, el vuelo sigue siendo muy rápido, pero ahora es un poco torpe. (literalmente "cae" al suelo con la presa) Y en todas las oportunidades, la avispa se posa primero cerca del nido -en un rango de 30-60cms-, para luego hacer un vuelo corto hasta la entrada del mismo. El nido queda abierto entre viaje y viaje, lo que atrae a varias pequeñas moscas parasitoides (probablemente Sarcophagidae o Muscidae, falta identificarlas) Pero durante la observación no se vió entrar a ninguna de ellas al nido. Hay otras avispas que anidan y/o interactúan en el mismo sitio (Heliocausus larroides, Podagritus sp., y varias pequeñas Crabronidae/Sphecidae aún sin identificar); también presencia de abejas del genero Liphanthus, todas en un espacio de unos 3x3mts.

Cerca de ahí varios machos esperan alguna posibilidad de cópula, y cuando pueden tomar a la hembra, suelen pelearse varios de ellos por la "exclusividad" (foto 4). Hembras y machos se alimentan en flores cercanas (se observan en varias de la fam. Rosaceae) de un jardín, a unos 10-15 mts de distancia. También abundan ahí las pequeñas moscas que la hembra atrapa para llevar al nido
