PTBG herbarium (Wood 14077)
Planted by the RSPB team at Haweswater in the exclosure at the head of the reservoir. Propagated from the last remaining plants on Helvellyn, thought to be last site in England for the species.
?
Very aromatic, obviously stoloniferous, not yet flowering
Unusual pungent soapy-musty odour.
Ziziphus calophylla seems to match but that name is not available on iNat
YB459
Observed in a small grove near a village; identification needs confirmation. No other images, unfortunately. Flowers were a hit among bees, wasps, hornets, and flies.
Large group because stoloniferous, starting flowering now (later than A. vulgaris), and very aromatic
My inclination is for this to be Malva parviflora, Least Mallow, and iNaturalistUK suggested it as the identification. Very similar to Malva pusilla, Small Mallow, and like that species some fruit do have pedicels longer than 1cm.
Fruit collected last year included for information.
1-2 feet tall. Sturdy green stem. Long leaves that are between wide and thin. Some of the leaves are yellowing on the edges. Dark green colored plant. Small bud like branches on the tips of the stem. These buds look like they're about to grow into new branches. Growing on the edge of the river.

Mohon konfirmasinya mas @naufalurfi untuk jenis ini. Karena awalnya saya kira Genus Ziziphus tapi kata teman yang sedang penelitian Ziziphus di Jawa mengatakan kemungkinan ini Genus Paliurus. Tks.
Ziziphus oenoplia (L.) Mill. Rhamnaceae
