Description
Hundreds of these Cteniopus looking beetles swarmed to both a moth screen (with a normal LED light) and to windows lit from inside lights. Over the last few days more and more individuals and groups of about 10 to 30 were seen. But this swarm was something else alltogether.
Multiple entries made of disparate groups and of some individuals in closeup

Noticed the eclosion of the Red Pierrot for the first time! But not what I expected to see! It was the UP colours seen, not UN, for a closed wing! I went across to the other side and saw the correct UN pattern! Slowly realised that I was seeing the same wing from both sides!! The other wing was stuck inside the pupa I think! Dead already, I felt! 🙁
