Surprising sighting on the Delaware River- this the most likely species
This roadrunner was at a bird feeder at Sandia Crest (~10,678 feet elevation!) and was first observed lying flat in the seed tray of the feeder. After it was disturbed by me and left, a few Mountain Chickadees arrived at the feeder. When I returned to the spot sometime later, the roadrunner was back in the feeder tray and then was observed on the ground under the feeder swallowing a bird -- perhaps a chickadee it had caught. Unfortunately I missed the actual capture of the prey bird.
Sunfish that was caught using a spotted lanternfly as bait.

Recorded with Echo Meter Touch 2. Auto ID suggestion: Little Brown Bat (13/46)
Screenshots from Kaleidoscope Viewer.
This one had me conflicted. On one hand, I observed variable Fc across the call sequence, which would point me toward eastern red bat. On the other hand, some of the calls seem to have two power centers (visible up top in the amplitude axis), which would suggest little brown bat. Definitely open to suggestions.
Found this little guy near the creek’s edge. I know it’s a spiny soft shell turtle. Cared for it for a few weeks, then let it back into the wild. Likes to burry in the sand, and peek his head out of the water.
May have burrowed into this ootheca?
I was totally, totally shocked to see this guy today. I must have startled it because it flew up from some brush near where I was walking, and then it took quite a bit of searching for me to track down where it had gone. It was VERY good at disguising itself as a bump on a log. I've been looking in all my field guides and at photos here on iNat, and Eastern Whip-poor-will seems like the best ID to me, but I have never seen any kind of nighthawk or nightjar before, so I am happy to be corrected if wrong.
Noted in Plum Run in 2012 (7/6/2012) by former GNA Stewardship Manager, Gerry Hertel. Presumably, this was someone's former pet that was discarded in Plum Run.
My wife works in a flower shop and this was in the soil of one of the plants that got delivered. Was wondering what kind of tree frog it is?

Found on Euthamia graminifolia in a meadow.
Can anyone tell me what the purple thing is? There were many on the flowers of these plants. I should have cut one open...
Not too sure what this was but it was a pretty interesting looking tree. I didn't want to pick a random guess.
Not a snake. Seemed much more worm like. Segmented area about an inch behind head.
Left it out on a leaf for an hour to get a spore print; appears to be white.
Found in pond water
