Description
Maybe some kind of ant parasite? It was found in my Lasius speculiventris/americanus colony. I assume it must have came in with the Lasius americanus when I collected them. The date & location are set for where the ant colony was collected, since that's where I think the wasp got in.

Description
Pollen Wasp, Genus Pseudomasaris, Family Vespidae, Order Hymenoptera. Documented on Sierra False Bindweed, Calystegia malacophylla (Native), at the Reyes Peak area in Los Padres National Forest, Ventura County, California, USA.
