This species grows wild in the north of Jabal Al-Arab in one of the hills known in the region and is known as "Tell chihane", which is a dormant volcano of basaltic nature.
This plant has been classified based on Mouterde's book
(La Flore du Djebel Druze )
which he found in this place.

This plant grows wild in the far south of Jabal Al-Arab on the Syrian-Jordanian border strip in a specific geographical spot. It spreads greatly in good winter days, as the leaves cover the entire land..
