Description
The dingo's three main coat colourations are light ginger or tan, black and tan, or creamy white.
The ginger colour is dominant and carries the other three main colours - black, tan, and white. White dingoes breed true, and black and tan dingoes breed true; when these cross, the result is a sandy colour.
Patchy and brindle coat colours can be found in dingoes with no dog ancestry and these colours are less common in dingoes of mixed ancestry.

Description
Alt text: Top view of the pale gray blue Atlantic Brief Squid against a black background. The arms and tentacles are spread out on the left side of the photo. There are 8 shorter arms and 2 longer tentacles that are visible in the photo. The arms are curled up some and the suction cups can be seen covering the length of each arm. There are clusters of more suction cups at the end of each of the 2 tentacles. The larger yellow eyes are located between the squid's arms and the rest of it's body. The color changing chromatophores speckle the mantle and finlets appearing as if the squid is covered in brown and black dots. The finlets are smaller fin like appendages at the tip of the squid's body at the right side of the photograph.
