This tiny ant-mimic spider may be a male Mazax, perhaps Mazax pax but I'm not sure, and the images (with daylight fading and the spider continually moving) leave a lot to be desired. Refs: https://wsc.nmbe.ch/genus/553/Mazax. Cf. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/65568208

Pogonomyrmex magnacanthus. Unofficial common name: ‘the big-eyed harvester’.
Some workers were tentatively peering out of the nest entrance, while a few others foraged singly. Workers were ‘shy’ and non-aggressive. Nest was approximately 3 inches in diameter and consisted of a barely visible, eroded patch of fine sand with a single entrance - located in loose, sandy soil.

Description

Larva of a nymphid lacewing Osmylops species. Identification thanks to Tim New. This larva turned up in some leaf-litter during a search for spiders as part of our Bush Blitz of Flinders Island in March 2014. Although tiny, it would eventually grown into quite a monster, and with those jaws would be a formidable predator of ants, though it's not a true ant-lion in the strict sense of the word.
