Witnessed a Reticulated Python battling with a Common Water Monitor. We heard a large splash and the as the water monitor ran into the stream with the Python wrapped around its body. Later, checked the stream to find the Retic still wrapped around the dead water monitor.

Found hanging out outside my bedroom window. Female, approximately 2.3m.
Could be the mother of the two juveniles we encountered before, on separate occasions? One was gray & the other more reddish.
We considered reporting her to the authorities for collection, but their office wouldn't have opened for another 4 hours.
Anyway we need her for pest control. 👌 The problematic illegal garbage dumping outside includes lots of food waste, which likely attracts rodents.
