Change sample to same place as fern/saxifraga. Ternate leaves that are serrate (not lobed). Leaflets not leathery or grayish green on top. Leaflets time rose on bottom and densely matted. 1 flower per stem but all plants well past flowering.

Ultramafic rock complex. Tried the FNA key, got to either Sect. Rubricaules or Sect. Pensylvanicae, but nothing jumped out at me. Need to revisit. Subpinnate leaves are interesting.

- Leaves ternate w/ 3 leaflets -> Sect. Aureae (http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=1&taxon_id=126635#KEY-1-18)
- Basal leaflets 3
- Central leaflets not or shallowly lobed (sinuses 1/2 to midvein at most)
- Leaflets and epicalyces with flat margins (not revolute)
- Short-styled
- Petals 5mm -> P. hyparctica.
