Huntsman too collects ants !
Gnathopalystes so ,an huntsman spider feed on crickets, tettigonidae ,cockroaches and other spiders.
Previously I had documented this spider feeding on small flies too..
Though I have seen previously gnatho feeding on ants,but never saw this spider hunting and collecting many ants together and wrapping.
Here spider has two ants and was not feeding, rather waiting for another to increase its quantity of food !

Phycosoma sp feeding on Chrysso
Phycosoma- I call this spider as psyco soma as its really psychic in feeding ants. I was always thinking, will this spider not get bored of its diet . Nocturnal hunter which has a habit of coiling ants after feeding on it . I have seen this Phycosoma with more than 10 ants coiled to eachother & exhibiting its capacity . Very rarely, I have observed this spider feeding on woodlice. Yesterday there were many Phycosoma in our farm feeding on alate ants which were emerging after the first rain . But here is one exceptional Phycosoma feeding on another spider( chrysoo sp ) of the same family Theridiidae .
Sometimes Phycosoma may also change diet to have some change in its routine :)
