A huge population of thousands of unknown Codonoprasum plants which are probably close to Allium longispathum in a wheat field. The vast majority of the specimens were unfortunately cut by the farmer who takes care of the field, possibly to prevent seed production and takeover of the huge population of Alliums there is in that field. The same field is full of other extremely rare and other unique plants, such as hundreds of thousands of Narcissus tazetta specimens, hexaploid form of Allium ampeloprasum, the endangered and endemic Crypsis minuartioides (a huge population of thousands of specimens), and many more unique heavy soil plants of the Israeli coastal plain (as well as others which aren't usually found in in this area). The site is a botanical treasure, but some parts of it are unfortunately threatened with building construction plans (as the area is also favoured by people for its geographic location, and holds a huge possible profit).
