Side of the road in a long, narrow reserve. Very disturbed and weedy site, it would appear the original reserve has been bisected by an altered road layout and is suffering from edge effect.
Other plants were also found in the reserve, emerging from the deep leaf litter from the alocasuarina and spent weed remnants.
Flower is intensely scented, reminiscent of clover flowers. Leaves are dark green, numerous and narrow in length with a deep fold down the centre. Buds of the flower are a pale purple with petals lightening to white as the flower opens.
Five to seven perigon leaves are strange here,on granite outcrop
Found near granite outcrop known as Newman’sRocks. Visually similar to description provided in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wurmbea_tenella
