I previously saw an Eurasian at this same spot with many AMWI in March 2004.
Vocals sounded different from AMWI — a single note call rather than two note.

Riverside drain at Montaño Bridge. Continuing bird at this site where it has been foraging along the concrete-lined segment of the ditch, above and below the road crossing.
Well-established burrow entrance, in classic “volcano” form.
Not planted or cultivated. Growing in unmaintained roadside, presumably a volunteer.
