On eucalyptus stump
I think
Maybe. . .
Spores (8)9-10(11) dia.
Collected specimen and drying for further analysis: Please ask if you want me to send it to you.
Maybe C. rubripes?
I heard that there are other Battarrea in California being called B. phalloides. I'm calling it that for now assuming it will take a while before they are sorted out.

Growing in a few peat moss based potting mixture with a lot of wood chips around a dragon fruit plant.
Maybe Pachyella clypeata or similar. Spores:
20-23 X 12 µm.
But spores may be a bit to small.
Spores fit, not sure what else it could be.
8-10(11) x 5.5-6 µm.
Under live oak
I spotted the first single fruitbody on a piece of bark that was laying on the ground. They were growing on the inside of the bark of a decomposing oak.
