Found on Evergreen Campus. In B lot. Found on fallen branch. Several other species also attached. Soralia present. 46 degrees and raining.

Summit Cemetery. I know more than one Lobaria has yellow medulla. I don't know which this is, but I do want to distinguish this from the ones with white medulla.

Description

This black lichens with bright yellow soredia are so pretty when they are wet. They seem to grow up high in trees and I only find them when they have fallen onto the groun.
