Moth collecting event for Biology
Approximate 8mm length. Found in dung
Up in Louisville for the Wildlife Society Conference! I took a recommendation and headed over to Thomas Jefferson Memorial Forest. Quite nice -- and a pretty good hike!
Found dead on the sidewalk outside of a storefront. Collected for preservation.
If I remember, I'll add better pictures once I get around to relaxing and pinning this guy. I like his horn a lot.
Found under mouse carcass.
Looks like a little insect poop! Only a few milimeters big
visiting Strophostyles umbellata. Thanks @gnatcatcher!
I was hoping to see one this year. The only other one that I saw was August 8th. A few years ago.
