Woody shrub, current specimen 2m across and 1 m high growing on a scree. Phylloclades (modified stems) glaucous and growing closely alternate from glabrous, angulate branch. Phylloclades can vary in shape with crenate margins and small, reddish leaf denticles (vestigial leaves)
Finally at the end! The 'white posts' with the 'sign' above it - indicates the end of the Kelvin Heights Peninsula Track - which is 8km or 5 miles in length.
