Are these immature snow geese? One of the white geese stood up and it showed its grey legs.
These two geese are clearly hybrids, and most likely Canada goose (but possibly cackling goose) crossed with either snow goose or domestic greylag goose. When I look through photos of various goose hybrids, to me they seem to most resemble Canada x snow, but Canada x domestic can be variable and is commonly reported in that area. Leaving as an intergeneric hybrid and hoping an expert chimes in with specific reasons they believe these birds are one-vs-the other.
With large numbers of Canada Geese.
Mottled duck is the first guess of 3 different ID apps, but the larger one has white borders on the speculum which has been said to be characteristic of mallards. I am hoping for a positive ID
