Seemly natural. Weedy, scattered plants on margin of 30 years + old Pinus radiata and eucalyptus forestry and garden. In clay soil, growing with dense Centella uniflora and Gamochaeta simplicicaulis scattered Veronica plebeia under planted Carex virgata and Phormium tenex. Leaves mottled, flowers and fruit rare.
