Visual description
Relatively small in size, maybe a few millimetres,the moth was primarily a mixture of brown colors, ranging from a light tan to near black. Along the wings there are three distinct black wavy lines that run perpendicular to the body of the moth. The overall wings seem to mimic the texture of either dead leafs or tree bark or maybe even a feather. The ends of the wings also seem a tad frayed. One can confirm it is a part of the order Lepidoptera due to its scaly wings.

Habitat
Moths can be found in a multitude of areas and regions. Anywhere that generally has flora will likely have moths around. This particular moth was found in my yard.
