Spottail Shiner (Hudsonius hudsonius)Observer

Caught in slow moving pool around submerged tree roots.
Didn't find any other minnows like this one in the creek and wasn't in a school.
8 Anal fin rays rules out all Notropis in the watershed except Spottail Shiner (Notropis hudsonius).
Scale pattern looks a bit weird compared to the spottails I catch in VA and was a lot larger in size (~5in).
Maybe an eastern silvery minnow?
