growing on dead branch of bay laurel. moss grown into cap. classification characteristics: pink polypore. porous underside with pink cap. Woody and tough.
Attached to tree (Alnus firma)
Found on sedge in Mendocino county. Mushroom is stretchy/rubbery.
Purple gills. Near live oak

Next to the road beneath Bishop pines and pygmy cypress. Very few fly larvae. Doesn't stain blue when cut.
