Female Wuelfingi's Stick Insect, Acrophylla wuelfingi, on a hibiscus bush in the garden, Atherton, far north Queensland, Australia. Body length 190mm, wings dark burgundy/brown. Photos top side, underside, and wing area.
She's been there since mid-January 2022 that I know of. As yet no visiting male but I'm checking often!

The owner of this porperty confirms this is a colour form of the ornate nursery frog.

In 1st 2 photos they are obviously emerging
3rd photo is 24 hours later - note colour change. Most of them had dispersed.
