Field Notes - lovely globular egg sac with flattened top suspended in a very complex web in an olive tree. several sites with similar webs but no sign of retreat or spider resting anywhere in daytime. about 10mm

Description

Field Notes - Ridiculously small spider. That pipe is actually a strand of fence wire where something has laid eggs on wool wrapped round it. Sorry it's the wrong end but I couldn't actually see what it was let alone which end. Don't really expect anyone to get further than spider.
