Three volunteers including myself began at 5:10 p.m. searching for amphibians near the lake edge to photograph. None were found. Monitoring for calls began at 5:40 p.m. (sunset) and continued for one hour with no calls heard. The lake was much above average and the water temperature was 49.5 degrees Fahrenheit at sunset. The sky was clear and the relative humidity was 46%. Air temperature at the three monitoring periods (in degrees Fahrenheit) was 51.8 at 5:40 p.m.; 42.8 at 6:03 p.m. and 41 at 6:35 p.m.
