It is a rock engraving on El-Hamra cliff in El-Ghicha (Algeria) which represents Equus africanus.

African wild donkey preceded by his two gambolling little ones. The "Naturalist" has shown all the characteristics of this animal; bristly mane, cross of withers, chevrons of the legs and bushy tail at the end. The eye is marked only by a horizontal slit or circumference with a small central circle, the eyelid is drawn to make it appear open.

So we can consider it as one of the oldest observations of iNaturalist.

Le mois dernier, j'ai observé cette espèce et j'ai pris un spécimen pour mon herbier.
Il se trouve qu'près vingt jours, ce spécimen, étalé et pressé, est toujours vivant et des nouvelles racines et feuilles ont apparues. (photos associées à l'observation).
ça m'as étonné et du fait je me suis retrouvé obliger de le replanter !
