For the Annals of Dubious Achievements, Part 4 - Moon Snail Edition

I think I managed to find all three members of the Moon Snail Family in the Monterey Bay today. I still awaiting confirmation, but...yay, me.

Description

The snail was still in this one, though it had been on the storm wrack line long enough that I can't imagine it was still alive. I tossed it back in the water after taking these photos, just in case, though.

About the size of a ping-pong ball.
