Comet Neowise
Today I observed something in nature that I couldn't post as an observation here on iNat. My first comet. Exciting to actually be able to see it, even with the naked eye once I figured out where it was with my binos. We were being eaten alive by mosquitoes or I would have stayed longer and tried to get photos. I may try again later this week.

Hey Mark, Glad you got to see the comet. Although this wasn't my first comet, they are all exciting and your story sounds VERY familiar with the mosquitos! I think I unloaded a half can of OFF! on my body. Here's one of my shots from last night. Was really lucky to get this in a gap of the high thin clouds that were blocking it a lot of the time.
