I am a geologist working at GNS Science in Wellington, which gets me to some interesting places around NZ. I have grown up with a love of the outdoors and a keen interest in natural history (not just rocks!). One of my hobbies is photography (mainly landscapes, nature, macro). Coming from a scientific background, I can appreciate the value of making observations and sharing those with other like-minded individuals, and iNat is a great vehicle for that.
