I have a BS in biology but never had a job in that field. I look for wildlife wherever I go and especially at home on Blackland Prairie in rural Milam County, TX. I like to find out what I've seen and observe behavior. I have no dominant area of interest. Having said that, I've put a lot of effort into Acrididae and Lycosidae because getting species identifications has been so difficult. Taking advantage of photographic opportunities in general is important as rare ones aren't always obvious at the time. I previously lived in Lehigh County, PA, so many of the species I see now are relatively new to me. I've joined the Texas Master Naturalist El Camino Real Chapter.

Update: anyone who knows me knows my dominant area of interest is now Lycosidae. I do a lot of Texas identifications on iNat and travel around the state looking for hard to identify and obscure species.

eaneubauer is not following anyone.
