All my life I have been fascinated by the life forms I encountered, and have ended up an ethologist, specializing in sharks and birds. I have written six books (as well as a number of scientific papers): The Shark Sessions, The True Nature of Sharks, MERLIN: The Mind of a Sea Turtle, The Spirit of Wild Ducks, Outwitted by Chickens: the Bird Who Killed the Tiger, and Birds are Impossible: The Supernatural Ways of the Fliers. A future book on bears and another on ravens are forthcoming.
