I am a Texas Master Naturalist and also part of a team developing a conservation area to demonstrate best practices in regenerative management of natural resources and to provide an educational and recreational resource for the public. I've been a keen birder for 45 or so years, and have leaned into learning more about other sectors of natural history over the past couple of decades. I'm most familiar with ecosystems in Malawi, Uganda, and parts of North America. I am excited about the rise of involvement in community/citizen science around the world, and delighted with the availability of tools such as iNaturalist!
