I am gradually realising that I am a plant nerd at heart and that I get a mental orgasm identifying plants and cataloguing my finds. I prefer using the old fashioned method of books and taxonomic descriptions (not that I am particularly good at it, but just a fan of it. You can love something and not be great at it right? ) My desire is to catalogue as many new finds as possible and apart from this app have started up a Facebook group for the same reason (because apparently I like doing things the hard way :-D)

Getting to be a little bit more grown up now, so I don't stamp my feet anymore if I misidentify stuff, but just accept my human fallibility. I may occasionally sulk a little and pout my lip :-D

Nature is my temple. When I am out bushwalking I experience something that is out of this world. I love to feel how my body adapts to the challenge of walking and hiking, how my entire being seems to blend with my surroundings.
