I work for the Colorado Desert District (CA State Parks) and have been studying the flora of the Colorado Desert and the Cuyamaca and Palomar Mountains with my mentor Larry Hendrickson for about 4 years now. I am particularly interested in our local rare plants as well as plants that are more common in the United States but with their distributional edges occurring here.
