Current doctoral researcher studying plant population ecology at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig. My work focuses on the population dynamics of Lupinus tidestromii, an endangered lupine endemic to the coastal dunes of Marin, Monterey, and Sonoma Counties in California, USA. I received my M.Sc. in Biodiversity Sciences from Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in 2024 and my B.S. in Biology - Ecology from the University of Louisville in 2021. I've been a longtime member of the Tyson Research Center community in St. Louis, MO. I'm a botany nut, bug lover, and amateur photographer.
