Amateur naturalist. My interest in plants and animals was sparked by early childhood experiences of watching my zoologist mother and learning through her observations and discoveries. Through her I learned of iNaturalist, and have begun to explore indigenous and invasive plants and animals here in New York City and in other places I have visited.
