Nature is my home. As an avid hiker, explorer, naturalist and conservationist, I enjoy capturing the visual beauty of wildflowers, birds and butterflies. Freshwater environments, such as lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls, have fascinated me since I studied wetland ecology in Queensland, Australia as a university student.

After receiving a B.S. degree in Botany-Resource Conservation, I have traveled worldwide seeing the beauty of nature and the diversity that abounds. Although I lived the last 20 years in the Pacific Northwest, my favorite places to visit are Patagonia, the rainforest of Australia and the savannahs of Africa.

In late 2019, I moved my home base to Florida and was astounded by the variety of flora and fauna. I joined iNaturalist to benefit from the knowledge of others to help me understand this amazing environment.
