I am an evolutionary ecophysiologist who studies color evolution and thermal ecology of herps at the University of Michigan. I work mostly on snakes and have a wide range of survey experience across the American Southeast, West and Appalachia. My favorite herps are big, fat blobs that don't move much (i.e. ambush predators) but I love seeing any and all herps wherever I may be.
