I'm a failed scientist who ended up with a career in music and journalism. In all seriousness, as a nerdy kid all I wanted to be was a biologist, but life presented a different path. I'm still as fascinated by wildlife as I always have been, and can spend large amounts of time gazing at minutiae. Thrilled to have found iNaturalist!
