Lockyer Community Action (LCA_Inc) is a community organisation that is passionate about recording and conserving the biodiversity and other environmental values of the Lockyer Valley Region, as well as preserving the integrity and resilience of the environment, rural lifestyle and community in the Lockyer.
We have been conducting wildlife surveys in the Lockyer Valley Region, mostly on private land, since early 2015. Our records, particularly of threatened species, are submitted to the Queensland Government's WildNet database. Records are also posted to iNaturalist.
We also run training in various skills associated with wildlife surveying and identification.
