Born and raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. My specialty and focus is in reptiles and amphibians but I often dabble with wildflowers and invertebrates as well. Generally, I try to get out and see reptiles and amphibians in the field as much as possible whether it is a quick jaunt or a long planned vacation. I graduated Oregon State in 2018 with a B.S. and researched Coastal Tailed Frogs (Ascaphus truei) while an undergraduate. I am currently working on a MS at Oregon State focused on the Northern Rubber Boas (expected graduation 2023). I have been working with reptiles and amphibians from basic surveys to stream continuum studies going back to 2008.
Note: My profile picture is an interestingly shaped iridophore from the edge of the oral apparatus of an Ascaphus truei larva.
