I started out as a birder since before I can even really remember. I have spent all the time since dedicated to that effort locally and wherever I am lucky enough to travel.

Recently , my goal has been to look around me a see if I know each organism around me. iNaturalist has let me move from tree, plant, bug to knowing the names for so many of the species around me. So deeper into the rabbit hole I go with each passing day. In this process lichens have become a real source of joy for me, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
