While my main focus is plants (especially grasses), I am generally interested in everything living. I have lots of experience with plant identification in the Great Plains and certain regions of California, though I am still learning. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Kansas State University. Currently, I reside in Merced, CA working as an ecological consultant.
