Nature enthusiast and aspiring know-it-all.

Currently a graduate student in the Department of Geological Sciences at CSU Northridge.

Originally from the Austin area, I completed a bachelor's degree in Environmental Management and Protection with a minor in Geology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2020. Prior to my arrival at CSUN, I worked as a habitat restoration intern at Pinnacles National Park doing invasive weed removal and botanical surveys. My research interests are in paleoclimate, and I am currently studying the effects of monsoon precipitation on the expansion of C4 grasses throughout northern Argentina using stable isotopes from paleosols as a proxy.

In my free time, I enjoy painting, gardening, botanizing, bug-chasing, and rock climbing.
