I am a retired veterinarian and am participating in two citizen science surveys using iNaturalist as a recording platform. Oregon Bee Project is striving to collect bees across the state in order to determine the species we have in Oregon. We are also recording the flower species the bees are using to collect nectar and pollen. The other project involves surveying for western pond turtles, western painted turtles and invasive red-eared sliders in Minto Island Park in Salem, Oregon.
