A University of Tennessee-Knoxville graduate with a B.S. in wildlife and fisheries biology and a minor in animal science, I've always held an interest in nature and love to observe and understand our natural world. Though most of my knowledge of the natural world has been focused on the flora and fauna of the southeastern US, I am striving to increase my knowledge in other regions of the country through travel, visiting national, state, and regional parks, and by learning from others. As a resource management specialist for the National Park Service, I also enjoy teaching people of all ages about the local wildlife and flora of West Tennessee.
