I'm a southern transplant born and raised in Mississippi where I studied wildlife and fisheries science in college. After graduating I moved out west to follow birds. Since then, I've spent the past 6 years traveling across the western US as a field ornithologist. When I'm not birding, I also enjoy photographing and trying to identify plants, butterflies, and just about any other life I can find.
