I am interested in human / wildlife interactions and introduced species, enjoy the smaller, less noticed animals, and I adore parasites!

I study impacts of the invasive brown widow spider, Latrodectus geometricus, on our awesome native widow species, and I also monitor urban raptors and coyotes, so I spend a lot of time hiking and posting observations of scat.

Volunteer on multiple community science projects, and a park supporter on trail clean-ups, maintenance, and education.
