@kokhuitan I would recommend engaging the community before making taxon changes that involve hundreds or thousands of observations, especially when several regional authorities favored the status quo (Weakley 2015, GoBotany).

In addition, you have left stranded the other taxa in Subgenus Hepatica, such that IDs are now stuck at tribe rather than genus or subgenus, e.g.

Yes, this and several other changes were done, messing up concepts created by experienced curators. I stopped curating recently, another most experienced naturalist @nutcracker stopped activities for iNat in general, concepts for several conifers have been messed up meanwhile, so no use to engage further. Sorry, just simple facts, nothing else.
